One of the best things about being a part of Holley Gerth’s God-Sized Dream Team is the privilege of connecting with other women. Some are bloggers, some are artists, some are missionaries, all are dreamers.
Every single one of them believes they’ve been called by God to do something. And they are following hard after it.
It’s totally inspiring. And utterly intimidating for this introvert to be in the middle of a hundred excited, chatty, wonderful women.
Which is exactly why I’m super excited to buddy up with Amy. 
Amy is a blogger too, and has a dream of writing a book. So we get along fabulously. Even more, she lives within an hour or so from me! So it’s actually feasible that we might get to meet up one day.
Amy and I are partnering up simply for encouragement’s sake. It’s hard to dream big dreams on your own. It’s a blessing to have the support of someone who’s sole focus is encouraging you. That is something special.
Encouragement is a big deal, right? It’s easy to get sidetracked, to become discouraged, to look around and compare yourself to others with similar or bigger dreams, and believe you just don’t have what it takes.
So it’s wonderful to have the support of another, encouraging when it’s needed. And I am blessed to be that encourager for her.
So today, head on over to Amy’s place and leave her a little love. A little encouragement. She wants to write a book, and her writing is good. Tell her so! Follow her blog, if you’d like, and be as blessed by her as I already am.
And then, drop by Holley’s blog and check out all of the other dreaming buddies. And instead of comparing and feeling discouraged about the fact that you might not have a buddy yourself (I know you. I am you. I would do this! So I’m warning you not to!), reach out to a friend, a co-worker, a fellow dreamer of your own and offer to be their encourager. Ask them if they will be yours. Share your heart and your dream and be the person that initiates. It’s so worth the risk.

I loved this! I love that your ‘Dream partner’ is so close by too! What a blessing! I encourage you to make a date and meet up in person… it’s funny – I wrote about the tendency to compare and compete… instead of encourage and uplift (and then I deleted that part… LOL!) It’s so easy to shrink back from Dreaming out loud – thinking others are already living it out… but each voice is unique and will reach some that others never will! I encourage you to Speak Up and Dream BIG! Blessings! (Now I am off to Amy’s!)
